Have you hugged your foot today?....If the answer is no then Nike have just what you need, the Nike Air Huarache.

Released in 1991, Nike asked the question "Have you hugged your foot today?", in reference to the comfort of this particular sneaker. Boasting an almost contradictive future/retro look, the Huarache, named after a native american sandal, features materials designed to hug the foot whilst still standing out in a crowd.

The upper of the Hurache can vary model by model and has changed over the years. Such the popularity of this sneaker, it has been made store specific with releases from retailers such as size?, JD and Footlocker.

Besides the changeable upper, the most notable features of the Huarache are the "collar" made from a neoprene like material that wraps the foot for a soft and flexible feel and the thermoplastic heel strap which helps with the on/off of the shoe and on most models providing a colourblocking contrast. The shoe is finished off with a Phylon midsole that encases an Air unit for that extra comfort.

Cop them now at Footlocker, Size? and JD to name a few, usually around 105 euro.
